Avocado Lime Hummus
Hummus and avocados are two of my most favorite things! The freshness of lime and creaminess of the avocado – combined with traditional hummus flavors – is divine!

Ingredients
- 1 (14.5 oz) can chickpeas, rained and rinsed, liquid reserved
- 5 cloves garlic
- 2 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 2/3 cup tahini
- 2 tsp hot sauce
- 2 avocados, pit removed and scooped from skin
- 2 tsp cumin, plus more to serve
- juice and zest of 2 limes
- olive oil
To Serve:
- toasted pine nuts
- pita or gluten free crackers
- sliced raw veggies

Instructions
- Add all hummus ingredients except olive oil and half of lime zest to a food processor and process until smooth. If needed, drizzle a few tablespoons of olive oil through the feed tube to help smooth out hummus. If hummus remains too thick, add a few tablespoons of reserved liquid from beans to slightly thin out.
- Top hummus with pine nuts, a few dashes of cumin, a drizzle of olive oil and remaining lime zest. Serve with pita chips or raw veggies.
