We absolutely love strawberry shortcake as a quintessential summer dessert. We made a “make it yourself” board to add to the fun. Festive, fun and easy! 🇺🇸❤️
Strawberry Shortcake Board
Instructions
- Prepare a boxed Angel food cake (we love Betty Crocker) and allow plenty of time to cool.
- Cut into thin slices and cut with a star cookie cutter.
- Adorn your board with berries, star shaped angel food cake and whipped cream (we simply beat together heavy cream and a little sugar).
- Add some fresh herbs and any sauce you’d like (chocolate would be perfect) and let your guests make their own shortcake.
