Sweet & Smoky Salmon with Lemon Caper Tapenade

Ingredients
Salmon:
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 3 Tbsp light brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 – 4 oz salmon filets
Lemon Caper Tapenade:
- 1/4 cup capers
- 1/2 cup pitted green olives
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley minced
- 2 Tbsp fresh dill minced
- 1 Tbsp fresh chives minced
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix spice mixture (paprika through salt) in a small bowl. Place salmon on baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle spice mixture on salmon. Press down to ensure it sticks to salmon.
- Drizzle very small amount of olive oil over salmon. Bake for 12 minutes.
- While salmon is baking, prepare tapenade. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and gently mix together.
- When salmon is done, plate and dollop with 1/4 of tapenade. Squeeze any remaining lemon juice over salmon. Serve with couscous or rice.
